Long Line Clinic, February 13th

Snapshot 4 (4-15-2016 10-09 PM) (2)

Richard’s patient and kind expertise with long lines have become an integral part of our training program. Long line work enables the horse to better understand their body and develop a confident, straighter and stronger connection over their back since there is no interference from a rider.  Long line work benefits horses at every level and in any discipline.  To read my report from our October clinic, please click here.  Fee is $125 for Blue Waters clients and $125 plus a $20 ring fee for visitors.   To secure your participation, please submit the form below; and email your proof of Coggins (within 12 months), proof of Flu/Rhino vaccination (within 6 months,) and your signed waiver to bluewatersfarm@gmail.com.   Please mail a check made payable to “Richard Malmgren” for $125 and a second check made payable to “Blue Waters Farm” for $20 to Linda Santomenna, 48 Bethel Cemetery Road, Chesapeake City, MD  21915.  Your entry will only be confirmed when I receive all of your paperwork.  The clinic will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.   If you participated in the October clinic, you do not need to submit a waiver or proof of Coggins/EHV.  The ride order will be posted on this page by February 11th.

Auditors are most welcome! There is a modest fee of $5.  Pre-registration is not required, you can just show up.  Light refreshments are served for all and seating is provided.  We hope to see you!

In the past two years, we hosted free-jumping clinics; Fix-A-Test clinics with Cory O’Connor and Emily Donaldson; long line clinics with Richard Malmgren; dressage clinics with Karen Ramsing-Bixler and Jessica Fay; and a scientific seminar with Dr. Amy Biddle.  Stay tuned as soon I will announce our winter series of educational events.
