Serious dressage riders will be beguiled by this gorgeous, athletic, gelding; who melds together the best attributes of his sire and dam. Despite being in a croup high phase, the power of his movement is clearly evident. The Oldenburg N.A. registry judge who evaluated him, had this to say: “Elegant colt with a pretty head and a good topline. Good and correct foundation.  Very good walk. Trot good rhythm and well active from behind” earning him a score of 8.2 and a premium award. We love his confident but tractable temperament. Body clipping, farrier care, trailer loading, grooming, worming, injections, fly spray and showers are no problem for this fellow.  He lived off the farm for several months to gain life experience and settled in perfectly!  He also travelled solo with no issues.  Samuel participated in two in-house groundwork clinics and handled them beautifully.  He lives in harmony with mares and geldings of any age.

There is a reason his sire, Sir Sinclair, has been ranked the #1 USEF Dressage Sire 2015-2020 and awarded the prestigious Keur predicate by the KWPN. He has sired numerous Grand Prix horses as well as one approved stallion, two licensed sons, and numerous Star and Keur mares. Sir Sinclair himself had an impressive sport career prior to being retired due to chronic Lyme. He placed in the top ten of the PAVO cup in the Netherlands. After his arrival in the United States, he won the Markel/USEF Six-Year Old Championship and the Markel/USEF Five-Year-Old Reserve Championship. He represented the United States at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany. He successfully competed Prix St. Georges with scores to 72%.

His dam, BW-Raina */-/*, is the beautiful daughter of Royal Prince and St.Pr.St. Danina. In 2018, Raina was Mare Performance Test Champion at her ISR/Oldenburg N.A. inspection hosted by Hilltop Farm. She also became the highest scoring mare in the United States and Canada with a near record setting score of 110 points.

We bring our 31 years of experience to bear in raising BW-Sir Samuel.  We utilize top nutrition that begins pre-utero.  Our program includes aggressive pasture and forage management, Triple Crown 30% Ration Balancer for both mare and foal, Rejuvenaide Plus Pellets by Progressive Nutrition during the suckling stage, and OCD Pellets by Doc’s Products Inc. post weaning to insure healthy growth.  We have Samuel evaluated regularly by our vet.  Additionally we use an farrier well trained in the needs of growing horses.  Because of his good health it has not been necessary to confine him and adversely affect his growth.  We expect him to mature to 16.2-16.3 H.
