Numerous Age Group Championships at Dressage at Devon and elsewhere

Our breeding program began in 1990 when we bred our beloved Another Gel (OTTB) to a hunter stallion. As Linda’s focus shifted to dressage, we began breeding warmblood crosses under the mentorship of the Hasslers at Hilltop Farm. Another Gel was presented to ISR/Oldenburg N.A. at the first inspection hosted by Hilltop where she earned Main Mare Book status. We expanded our broodmare band to include Hanoverian mares S.P.S. Danina and Ariane, Holsteiner mare Bit of Luck, and Dutch mare Kroniek. Together, our mares produced 32 registered foals of which six became FEI dressage horses including two Grand Prix dressage horses.

OUR MARES

BW-Raina */-/* (2005-2023), Royal Prince x S.P.S. Danina, Hanoverian

In 2018, Raina was named MPT Champion at her ISR/Oldenburg N.A. inspection at Hilltop Farm, earning an exceptional near record-setting score of 110, the highest awarded to a mare in North America that year. In 2020, she produced a colt by Sir Sinclair who was awarded Premium status by Oldenburg N.A. with a score of 8.2. He has since gone on to find success in combined training with a young rider.

St.Pr.St. Danina (1996-2021) Davignon x S.P.S. Wenke, Hanoverian

S.P.S. Danina was imported from Hengstation Pape. With superstars Donnerhall, Pik Bube, Werther, and Wendekreis, filling out her pedigree, it’s not surprising that Danina herself achieved remarkable scores of 8’s and a 9 for her gaits and rideability in her performance test in Germany.  Danina had eight offspring which are successful in both the dressage and hunter rings.

Ariane –/*/* (1996-2016) A Jungle Prince x Rhapsodie, Hanoverian

All seven of Ariane’s offspring earned Premium awards, inspection site honors and Dressage at Devon wins. Her daughter BW-Corabelle (by Contucci) won multiple Devon Championships earning a record-setting score of 89.5%.  Her full sister, BW-Callista was a Premium Mare and MPT Champion who went on to become the 4-Year-Old National YH Champion in 2006 then competed successfully to Intermediare 1. Ariane herself won Dressage at Devon, Produce of Dam, in 2004 and Reserve in 2003.

Bit A Luck –/*/- (1987-2013) LeSanto x Shine My Luv, Holsteiner

Lucky gave us four wonderful foals all of whom earned Premium status with ISR/Oldenburg N.A. Her offspring are successful in dressage, CT and the jumpers. Her first daughter, O’Shining One (by Cabaret) has competed successfully to Grand Prix with her owner, Linda Larisch.

Kroniek U (1992-2012)  Liver Chestnut, 16.2H, Dutch keur, KWPN approved

Kroniek came to us in 2006 after a distinguished performance career through 4th level, with Cindy Mattern and quickly became a beloved schoolmistress in our teaching program. In 2008 Kroniek was leased to Lazy J Sport Horses and where she produced three beautiful sons; one by Contango and two by Harmony’s Rousseau.  Her oldest son, Faberge Blue (by Contango)) was competed successfully to Grand Prix with Michael Bragdell. Hancock (by Harmony’s Rousseau) is training at 4th level and PSG.

Another Gel (1981-2010) Tilt Top x Guava Jelly, Thoroughbred, approved Oldenburg N.A.

Another Gel had an excellent racing career prior to her transition to combined training.  She gave us six beautiful foals, two of whom earned premium status with ISR/Oldenburg N.A.  Her offspring proved to be versatile and successful in the hunters, jumpers, CT and dressage. One of her offspring by Tantris, competed successfully to I1 in dressage.
